About Petya
- Petya Evtimova-Ivanova, MFA, was born in Bulgaria, Europe. In 1999 she graduated from the University of Veliko Tarnovo with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts.
- After her graduation, she participated in more than 50 national and international group exhibitions. Her art works belong to private and government collections in both Europe and the USA.
- Although her primary medium is oil, recent years have witnessed her artistic exploration. She now combines the classical oil with other media and diverse surfaces, which enable her to convey her ideas in more intricate and multifaceted ways. Her latest creations serve as a tribute to the celebration of the beauty and harmony inherent in women's identities. They draw inspiration from symbols deeply rooted in native art, myths, and traditions from her Bulgarian homeland.
